Welcome to the Integrated Construction Informatics Laboratory (ICIL) at the Wadsworth Department of Civil Environmental Engineering of the West Virginia University! Our group seeks to discover knowledge and develop innovative strategies, technologies, methods, and tools for improving sustainability, safety, and health of construction workplaces, infrastructure systems, and built environments, all of which sustain uncertainty, complexity, and hazards. Our research is focused on the areas of sensing, experiments, modeling, and analytics to enable evidence-based understanding and effective surveillance, assessment, intervention, dissemination, and implementation. The ICIL was established by Dr. Fei Dai in 2013.
